Default Wtb: Plastic Engine cover

Hey whatsup cl. I NEED the big plastic engine cover for my 98 gs300. Water keeps getting into the back plugs near the firewall . So if anyone have one that they're not using, please let me know. Don't kill me with the price either! Thanks. Shipping would be to Philadelphia PA 19153. Or anyone locally in the Tri-state . Let me know.

Just an FYI, an engine cover isn't going to stop water from getting to your plugs, unless you wash your engine with a hose, which is bad.

I never washed or sprayed my engine, this happened to me like 3 times already. Water got into the plugs some how so my mechanic had to take everything out and air blast everything dry so it would stop misfiring.

The first time was rain, the second time was when we had a big snow few days, car sat until everything melted and when I started it back up, misfire again. Water was back in. the third time which was recent, big rain storm. My mechanic checked all the plugs, plugs, coil packs. The last thing he can think of is because I dont have the engine cover. Im sure people
without the cover doesnt have the problem like me.

We can't figure out why..

Maybe, it can be that the plastic cowl part is clogged in order for the water to drain.. I dunno. This problem is the reason im debating on selling the gs.

Do you have all your plastic panels attached under the car? Both fender liners and the cover directly under the engine?

I should still have the plastic engine cover from my 02 GS3.. although I really doubt it would solve your issues. PM me if you're interested.
