Thanks, but that's what I'm trying to avoid...another radio that almost on it's way out that I have to pull out again in a few months or so.

It's not unfortunately. I have my friend's 04 radio, but it doesn't plug up either.

Why not order the replacement screen from Pioneer and just replace the display?

Probably a better solution then paying for a used unit that may start to die after a few months
