Default WTT GS Trunk lid

Anyone in South Florida, with a Burnished Gold GS 98-05 want to trade trunk lids? Mine has the factory spoiler that I want to get rid of, without paying an arm and leg to get the holes filled. My emblems have all been removed, if interested please respond ASAP... thanks

X 2....def....I just got done posting on someone elses thread if I had a $1 for every time someone wanted to trade for a wingless trunk how many dollars I would have. lol. I just sourced a wingless one from a salvage yard and got the parcel shelp and third brake lamp at the same time. Then welded in plates on the old trunk to eliminate the center tails...and the spoiler holes. need to finish that thing someday.....

Best of luck though, maybe someone will want one?

Two things against you.
1. Most people don't want the OEM spoiler.
2. Your color is very rare.

Yup it seems that way...Just didn't want to spend money on this..lol. Need to find a salvage yard that will have a GS in it and see if I am lucky. 99Aristo, that is exactly what I want to do with mine, does anyone know if there is a 3 piece spoiler that would cover the factory holes? I was thinking of going that route as well

Where can I see how that spoiler looks like, and the cost?

What color is your car?? I don't want to take it off and have holes in my trunk for water to get in!! Are there any plugs or something other than weld and paint?

you are going to want to fill those holes regardless if your new spoiler covers the holes or not.

and the only way to do that is weld and paint right? Need to take it to a body shop to see how much they will charge!! What about removing the center trunk lights, any idea how much that should run me?
