isnt this what the MODS mean by price gouging in the rules? we had a conversation VIA PM as i showed him where he bought them for $250 from a GB and was trying to get almost 3 times that price from them a few years later cause he didnt install them

Just to point out a little fact for those that don't know, the L-tuned exhaust system are all made by HKS Japan. They are one of the only few exhaust system that meets California's strict noise code and is carb certified. Toyota just simply contracted them to make this exhaust for Toyota. The asking price that he's asking is not a bad price neither as these are discontinued and gone forever. On top of that, he has the longer resonator version which is designed for the GS300 to eliminate the drone. I've had both L-tuned version on my IS300 and now GS300 for years and when I sold my IS300, my L-tuned exhaust was sold for over $1k used! OP, if you're contemplating on picking this exhaust up, I'd highly recommend that you do. I for one know that I wouldn't sell my L-tuned exhaust if someone paid me more than that guy is asking for his new unit.

i never knew who made them so i dunno who is correct BUT according to the FIRST paragraph in the link i posted. carson said TRD was making them. although they said they were made in japan and no longer made by TRD (i didnt know TRD was in japan thought TRD was home grown in the good ole usa)

EITHER way, who ever made them, both companies make quality products
