those resistors get SUPER HOT! they WILL melt wires and plastic if not mounted properly. there is a couple of threads about them

i havent had problems with the resistors. they dont melt aything. i double sided tape it to the back pf my lights

Speaking from experience, they have melted the wires causing a short. Again, properly mounted, you will not have a problem, and properly mounted is not double sided tape to the back of the lights. properly mounted is to the metal of the car as per China man manufacturer/seller recommendations.
