Default Fs: Ls400 bbk

I'm selling a set of 1998 LS400 4 Piston alumnium FRONT calipers. They are in great working condition. Calipers have a nice fresh coat of red Dupi-Color caliper paint. They come with OEM brake pads, but they are worn, and you will most likely want to put new pads on them. These are a fantastic brake upgrade for the SC300/400/430 and will generally fit the GS300/400/430. Make sure you find out before committing to buy these. This is a great deal especially for those who want a BBK (big brake kit) and don't want to spend a lot!

Asking for $200 OBO. Local pickup preferred, willing to ship. Located SoCal.

LS pads, you will also have to buy some LS rotors (which are bigger than stock GS rotors), and check to see if you wheels are high disk to clear them. If not you will need a 15mm spacer as well. Also you need to trim the steering knuckle bolt or Buy a front RCA. Real easy for a mechanic to get these to fit.

Check this thread (the title is untrue because they do fit on a GS but need a little work that's all).

I just pick up a LS400 brake combo for more, this PRICE IS GREAT!

I would have bought these calipers yesterday if wouldn't have bought my set.

Yeh but you've missed the point. He still used a 15MM spacer with his stock wheels. The RCA is not to correct the caliper from rubbing the wheels, the RCA is used to correct the caliper hitting steering knuckle bolt.

So as I understand it, these bolt directly to an sc300 with no modifications except I'll have to buy the ls400 rotors and pads?

I don't know about an SC but definitely a GS. Go to the SC section and do a search to find out this information.

If only the color wasnt red... Guess i could just get them repainted. So let me get this straight, I have oem 17's so i would need at 15mm spacer in the front and then i could shave down the tie rod bolt? OR do i HAVE to buy an RCA?

I will take them if they fit.
I have the 3gs 18" 5 Spoke rims. Will these bad boys fit my setup? I really like these brakes.
