i have everything ready to install and i thought my old 98 gs airbag explosive would fit in my new 01 steering wheel but, it turns out to be the single stage on my old one is a tad bigger, i know theres a single stage that will swap right over to the +01 steering wheel air bag.

If anyone have an extra or one for sale PLEASE let me know thanks.

Yeah, there are two different styles with different distances between the studs. When you find a seller and ask them to measure. I think one is like 3" and the other just under. You could also look for Toyota bags. Bcause there are more out there the price isn't as high. Good luck.

Just stick some dynamite in there and wire it up to an ignition source, a half stick should be enough to get that air bag out of there in a crash.

Or you could just buy the airbag squib connectors off ebay that are $20 and wire them from 2 stage into 1. Most of these should work or you might have to modify the connector a tad. This is cheaper and easier to find.

damn if you were a few weeks earlier I had one mounted onto a 04 airbag and i sold it all for like $200
