youo need both to make it happen and yes it bolts on. Only difference is the 98-00 uses a single stage airbag and the 01-05 uses dual stage so you would need to get the wiring(squib) connectors for the airbag and wire them to be single so they deploy at the same time. Fairly easy, just need the connectors. I'm going to check into them at Lexus Monday if I have time.
yeah! Vouch for me....thanks. 10 I-traders should do it but still thankful. No OBO....sorry, going rate for these is $300 shipped all over ebay(sometimes more) and I paid $300 shipped for it. And in no hurry to sell it really....not hurting for $$$. Lemme know.....as for putting it on, airbag and the wiring which I did find on ebay for $20 shipped. The newer airbag connectors should work fine on it.

Appreciate the input honestly but I did think of that. Been working on airbag systems for about 13 years now and fully understand them....did you know the explosives in airbags are made with what is basically rocket fuel? Except it's in a solid form, pellets. Now that's an accelereant!
