have you try cleaning out the tcm contact points,and motor sometime that help. you can believe how much crap ca n build up

case in point by friend maf went bad cel came on i try cleaning and now he has a new car

well the other day the car would start up... i had to gas it to throw it in drive jus to go... once i got to a stop it shuts off.... my mechanic cleaned out the complete throttle and now it starts up and gradually lowers the rpms from 800-700-600 and basicaly now it gives us a little more time before shut off lol so we're 99% sure the motor on the throttle is bad .... but thank you very much for the tip... i'm just tryin to understand these motors...i've been stuck in a time warp with these slow maxima motors!

fyi our throttle bodies are built in you cannot part them out

i have a spare throttle unit in my garage...if you want it...let me know i have to find it and i'll send u pixs...$75shipped..condition... looks really dirty...but i THINK it still works...
