Default Sportdesign Grill Group Buy - Interest?

Hi all,

I'd like to get one of these grills for my 98 GS300. Are any of you interested in getting together for a group buy of this item?

I have already gotten Static911's OK and have already talked to Steve Ganz. According to Steve, the grill is very easy to install
and exact fit.............only 8 screws.

Steve has given me preliminary pricing for 10 grills at 149.95 + shipping (and I guess tax depending where you are just like how he normally does). List price is $206.00 and normal price is $165.00. I believe the 2001 grill (non-chromed) is $145.00.

Please reply with your interest. If we get many more, I will ask Steve to see if maybe (?) he can do a better price but let's get to 10 first. I hope there are a few more of you who wants this because I want one.

Thanks.

Can we see a picture of All 3 grills in one post? Thanks for the Group buy effort. Trust me I know how hard it is.

Sorry guys,

I don't have access to any pics of this grill. fasthuh posted a couple of pretty good pics of his Sportdesign grill. I asked him to post it here if he has time. In the meantime, look at these 2 posts where his pics are:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...5&pagenumber=1

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...rtdesign+grill

The close up in the second post is near the bottom of the page, I think the 13th post.

So far there does not seem to be a lot of interest. If you know someone who is interested, please past the word.

Thanks.

It is not that there is no interest....just the price tag for a grill may make one think if it is even worth it. Most of us who wanted a chrome grill has likely done the DIY method. Sportsdesign grill will likely interest those who do not have 2001 and up grill....(That is me)

My only concern is the price. I rather get my steering wheel refinished with wood first.

Either ways, don't count me out. Just rather not do both at the same time. Can we wait till after the group buy for the wheel is completed first....heck that is $400.00 already.

I liked the 2001+ grill chromed when we were all discussing about the DIY chrome grill.
