to the OP for some quality parts that you don't see that often now and days since they're so many china companies making copies of everything that can get their hands on and selling it for 1/4 of the price....

Hey, no problem at all. Looks like all it did was clarify the quality difference for those that may not know and bumped the sale ad. LOL

No offense taken at all.

Was going to step in earlier, but I think you guys pretty much covered it. Rotora and Brembo has a big difference in quality and design. The Rotoras are great if you just want it for looks at car shows and occasional hard stopping. I don't know if I could recommend Rotora brakes for heavy track and race usage. I upgraded to a more expensive brand because I plan to race my car often with my new setup.

Either way, very nice set of brakes you're selling. Good luck!

Surely someone needs a Big Brake Kit with calipers the size of footballs and discs as large as miata wheels.

Just a tip, maybe try and list these on Ebay. You will get a LOT more hits and views there. You can list it as compatible for GS300 93-05, GS400/430 98-05, SC300/400 93-00, Toyota Supra 93-98, 01-05 SC430(I think, maybe you need to double check on this last one). All these cars use the same front brakes. There might be a few more cars it's compatible with but I'm not sure off the top of my head right now. Selling on ebay will give you a MUCH broader selling audience if you list it for multiple cars rather than just selling here on CL in the 2GS section.

Will do, I'll take a look at the kit part # and then cross it to the other apps. to make sure.

I've thought about just doing a simple Supra swap on the front...if they'll clear the factory 17" 5 spokes? So here's another option for anyone that may be on the fence.

If you have a front stock Supra 4 piston setup in nice condition lets talk about a trade and money.

FYI: You'll need spacers to clear the stock 17" GS wheels with Supra calipers. I believe you'll need a 10mm minimum.

I'll hijack my own thread for a min.

I was doing some searching the other night for some pics of the TTE lip for the front and came across your GS-F thread, you've got a great looking car. Very clean.

Thanks for the input on the spacers. I've got H&R 25mm on the back, do you know off the top of your head if the 10s on the front will become a clearance problem for anything? Mainly the metal fenders, I couldn't care less about the plastic inners.

Thanks

Thanks for the kind words. To answer your question, the 3GS wheels are 18x8 et45 and I have 15mm spacers up front with 245/40/18 tires. So that would make the wheels now 18x8 et30. The stock 17" wheels are 17x8 et50 usually with 235/45/17 tires. So with 10mm spacers, that would make the wheels now 17x8 et40 with 235/45/17 tires which should NOT at all rub onto the metal fenders. Even with my front set up, I rub only slightly on hard dips on the plastic fender guard and not the metal. I think CL member whazzzup ran 30mm spacers up front with the stock 17" GS and only slightly rubbed.

With that in mind, since you have 25mm spacers in back, I would maybe get 15mm spacers to make sure that it clears the calipers and help poke out the front wheels/tires so it could be more even with the rears and not as "sunken in."

Do you mean you only have the calipers right now, or you have an entire kit and the calipers are new?

Thanks
