For Sale 98 Turbo charged GS400
Looking for 12,500 obo.
The time has come for me to part with my dream car. I bought this car new and turned it into a street brawler. The car has approximately 225,000 miles on the chasis and about 70,000 on the engine. THe car has coilover suspension and toyota racing development sway bars to match the horsepower, The HP can be adjusted with the turn of a dial using the electronic boost controller. I have had the car up to 550 RWHP. The car is very docile under normal circumstances but once you get on the boost it is a handful and must be respected. The exhaust provides a deep throaty sound and for a guy like me is music to my ears.
I can be reached via email or 404-664-7924, cash only straightforward no nonsense transactions only, I dont want to waste my time or yours
Things to consider the wheels need to be polished they cost approximately $3000 new they are Iforged wheels, there is a local shop here in the seattle area that can polish them up for you at a nominal cost. It has a weak cylinder but runs and idles fine.
The Greddy lip is no longer on the car and it now has a color matched TRD Grill
It has the following mods on it.
1. Engine
b. RC engineering 370 CC injectors
c. Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
d. FAL Low profile fans (1.5” thick)
e. Greddy Catch can

f. Spearco FMIC
b. Hayden Transmission cooler
c. 2650 RPM Precision industries Dragon Torque converter with stator pump

2. Exhaust
a. Tanabe Super Medallion Cat Back
b. 3” Custom exhaust splits off into two 2.25” pipes
3. Suspension

The weak cylinder is at 85 PSI, I dont recall the other cylinder readings (they were all in acceptable tolerances) but I have an email out to the shop that did the compression check for me, hopefully they still have the numbers.

Vouch here for Morris. Great guy, 100% trustworthy. I've ridden in that beast of a car and all I could say was DAMN! The car amazingly was 3rd place at the NOPI Dyno about 3 or 4 years ago....beating out some SERIOUS competition. People were like "that is a Lexus"
Good luck with the sale!

wasnt this motor built? if im not mistaken there was a thread back in the days when you were putting the turbo on.
is the low compression on the built motor or a different one?
how much do you think transport would be to the east coast?

The car did have a built motor in it but lets just say it didnt work out Now it has a stock engine in it with the boost set lower.
There are a few posts about it in the spotted thread in the Northwest section but I have to admit I didnt drive it much in WA, only been here a year and a 1/2 and it sat in the garage most of the time.
I am moving to Memphis soon (SELOC) I am coming home and I want to start my new life with a new Z06 Selling my GS helps me get there.
MIke I miss you man!
