Default Bilstein Coilovers For Sale!

SOLD..........MODS PLEASE CLOSE THREAD!

Hey everybody, I have a nice set of Bilstein coilovers that I am selling in like new condition. Sonny at Dynamic Auto installed them in my car just a few months ago, but the wife complained that the ride is TOO SPORT, so I had Sonny pull the Bilsteins and install the Tein CS suspension for a softer ride. The coilovers have the stock suspension upper mounts already on them, so they are ready for easy install. I put less than 4000 miles on them and willing to sell for $1000 obo. I paid $1270 new, inc. tax and shipping! These have Lifetime Warranty.......

FYI - these can be revalved through Bilstein to offer a softer ride. It's $75 per shock and they do a complete rebuild while they are in there too. Great deal on a set of amazing coilovers. Good luck on your sale!

Thanks Scott, they are sweet coilovers. Definitely built for high speed cornering!

Any idea what the spring rates are for this setup? I'm not liking how overly soft my Tein CS setup is and would like something a bit firmer, but not overly harsh. I believe the Teins run 8 kg front and 6 kg rear.

The Bilsteins are either 12 or 10 kg in front (cant recall which) and 8 rear. They are progressive springs. But it's the valving that makes them so much firmer than the Tein CS.

You are pretty close to the spring rates, Scott. The Tein CS is 9Kg front and 8Kg rear, while Bilstein PSS coilovers are 12.25/8.17Kg respectively.

Here is a copy of some correspondance I recieved from Tein USA regarding my CS coilovers, just for comparison's sake.

Right now your Comfort Sport kit uses 9kg front springs and 6kg rear springs. You can increase the spring rates +2kg over those rates with the current damper valving. If you would like to use anything stiffer than that, we normally recommend revalving the dampers to match. Unfortunately we do not offer an 11kg spring for the front. You can use either a 10kg or 12 kg spring, and the damper valving should be fine.

If the sale doesn't pan out pm me about total cost with shipping to Tacoma, WA.

Do you have the version 1 or the version 2? I think the version 2 have spring rates of 9 and 8.

Hey Czech,

You've got a PM... I'll be in your neck of the woods on Saturday and maybe we can make a deal?
