FS: Lextreme TC 2800rpm Stall/ Precision PT67 Dual Ball Bearing Turbocharger
SPECIAL DEAL! If you buy both of these together then I will sell for $1000 shipped! That's only $250 for a upgraded TC!
I have my freshly rebuilt Lextreme 2800-3000rpm Stall Toruqe converter up for sale. This will work for the GS300. I got this TC refreshed and rebuilt to like new condition because I have my new race built transmission ready to go in my car soon. However, I'm going with a higher stall of 3600rpm so I no longer need this unit. As you know the Lextreme toruqe converters are reinforced with all the fins TIG welded. It's capable of holding up to around 600rwhp+ range. And since it's based off the stock torque converter it has less chance of throwing a CEL compared to other brands. I had it on my GS300 and I did not have a CEL for the transmission.
Selling it for $375 shipped.
If you buy from Lextreme directly it will cost $465 and you will have to wait about 2 weeks for them to finish building it. This one is ready to go with no waiting nor a core charge.
EDIT: If you're in the DFW area, I can install this in your car for $250. About half of what shops will charge you to do this same thing. Trust me this is a very labor intensive upgrade that I'm offering to do cheap because I just want to get rid of the TC.

Ok, second thing on the list. I'm moving on to bigger and better things. I really love this freaking turbo and I'm really hesitant to sell it but it's time has come to an end because my HKS T51R is finished. This is one of the sexiest turbos by far that I have ever had the pleasure of using. The power band is just simply amazing and it does not cease to pull like crazy through redline. This thing whistles like a monster if you have a exhaust cutout. Also, it's a ball bearing turbo so this thing spools up QUICK for it's size.
It's a dual ball bearing turbo with a water cooled center cartridge. I believe the compressor is .68AR, exhaust is .82AR...I'll have to double check just to make sure. The compressor housing has been polished down and ceramic coated(near chrome look). I've only put about 4k miles on this turbo. I will be pulling this off the car in about a week and it will be ready to be shipped at that time.
Selling for $750 shipped.
Firm on the price, I have no problem keeping this as a spare if nobody is interested

I'll try to get a DIY if I can. But trust me when I say. This is a VERY labor intensive job to do at home. It's a little easier if you have a lift at your disposal but it's still not something that is easy to do. It takes me about 1.5-2 hours to pull the transmission out of the car. 15 mintues to pull out the old TC and install the new one. Then another 1.5-2 hours to reinstall the transmission. Then I have to refill the transmission fluid. And this is coming from someone who has pulled the transmission on/off these cars more than 10 times already!
Also, I recommend changing out the rear engine crankshaft seal while you're down there with the trans off of the car. It takes an extra 20 minutes or so, but it's good preventative maintenance.

If it's the A650E transmission then they will fit. I've pulled countless numbers of these transmissions(not fun) lol. The main difference is the 300 have a different stall speed than the V8's.
Most shops will charge around $400 to install this. It involves pulling the transmission out of the car, swapping TC, then putting the transmission back in.
