For whomever is interested in this mod:

A B&M Supercooler can be had for $50-$60 bucks. Please make sure you buy this type of tranny cooler or it is "bye-bye" to your tranny with this mod! This is the best bang for the buck mod. PERIOD! Also, for extra protection from heat on your tranny use Amsoil ATF (it is Toyota Type IV compatible) and keeps tranny fluid temps cooler than regular trans fluid. Do it right! Good luck!

anyone know if there is a DYI for this tc? What deter me from buying this is because i also have to shell out another $400 for installation. I replaced manual clutch before on a 200SX, so I am capable of doing this. Just need instruction.

Yep, if you can afford it this mod is one (if not the biggest) performance mod you can do to any 400/430 powered car short of a FI mod. There are enough burnout clips on YouTube and the like showing the impact of this one mod alone. Half second reduction in 0-60 and quarter mile times is no b.s. with this setup, or, the best top fuel burnouts with a GS you can muster without a FI engine
If you do a search on this forum you will see some crazy stories and remarks after putting one of these babies in.

Thanks to all who are PM'ing me about this converter...to answer all the reoccuring questions...

It is brand new and never installed. I opened the box to take the picture that some have asked for, and yes, it will fit LS and SC cars powered by the same 5 speed V8 drive train.

Thanks for inquiring.

Hey VrFerrari,
Was it pending to me, or someone else here? Sorry I didn't check email last night. Let me know if your offer in the PM still stands. Thanks.

Payment sent. Thank Victor. Voom voom. Oh boy, not sure if I can handle the tickets I am going to get after installing this TC. Got to find a reputable installer first though.

He he. Thanks for the jealousy feeling, Adam. On the side note, how is the SRT intake treat you? Do you like it. I may someday install it.
