i'm interested in the lux link unit, but how hard is the installation, and how reliable is it? thanks!

You will need to solder/splice about 3-5 wires and a T-Connector. You will need to open your driver side door panel for 2 wires. I have the original installation in a doc and pictures from LuxLink. Let me know if you want me to email those to you.
It never failed on me before, it started everytime i used it.
