For Sale: Brand New HKS Hipermax LS+ Coilovers
Brand New set of HKS Hipermax LS+ Coilovers for sale: $1450 plus shipping and insurance. Local buyer is preferred, but I will ship. These will fit all 2nd gen GS models (1998 - 2005).
I had these shipped over from Japan by another CL member -- DrewGS300. I have decided to stay with my Bilstein PSS coils for now. I made a few adjustments on the Bilsteins and they are working for me - so I've decided to sell the HKS LS+ coils. Treat yourself to a Very Merry Christmas ... These coilovers will put a huge smile on your face !!!
These are brand new in the box and have never been installed. They are HKS's Luxury Sport coilover that includes a special rubber bushing insert in the strut mounts rather than the solid mounts of most coilover systems. This provides a better ride and no clunking as can happen with solid mounts. These coils offer height adjustment and 30 different dampening settings. They can be set to ride like stock or for a more sporty feel. The spring rates are 10 / 8.
The rear adjustment ***** are longer than on most coilover systems - and on the GS will come up throught the carpet so you don't have to take the carpet off to make dampening adjustments. Rear adjustments are a breeze. This is a very niffty feature of these coils. You can see the long ***** in the package in some of the pictures. HKS is the only co. to offer this. HKS makes some of the highest quality components available.
I'm in Huntington Beach, CA. You can Private Message me here on the board, or call me direct. Home (714) 374-9932 or Office (949) 833-1599.

I know you may have called, and i'm not sticking up for anybody here, but if you notice on that site that was posted, it does say LS/LS+. It could be the poster saw this, and posted. Though, it would have been a more diplomatic approach of PM'ing you rather than publicly stating it. Also, good luck selling your coilovers, When I sold my flex i took a big hit due to no one wanting to pay the 'retail' price. (new coilovers too)

Scott, sorry to see you selling them b4 installing them to try them out. i remember we were discussing the ride on coilovers in my thread. I ended up taking your advice and swiching out the springs on my Tein CST. Worked great. Good luck w/ your sale.

Virtuouse - I'm just not sure what to make of your post. You obviously did no research before you posted on my thread to sell my coilovers. Perhaps it's just pure ignorance on your part. Perhaps you are not aware that many/most auto parts web sites post parts that they don't have in stock, or parts that have not even been for sale for years - but they keep them on their web site for some reason. I don't know why they do this - but they do. The link you posted was for a set of LS coilovers that have been discontinued for several years (They were replaced by the LS+ coilovers). The coilovers I have for sale are the LS+.
I knew what I would find, but I called them anyway just to do my due diligence before I posted back. Their sales manager said to me, "Oh, those have been discontinued for years. No, I don't know why they are still on the website ... but I can get you a set of Tein CS's for around $1500."
Virtuouse next time you have an opinion about someones parts for sale, the right thing to do is to private message them with your opinion. Especially if it's a shoot from the hip "I saw something on a website, but I never checked it out to make sure it was for real, and I really have no idea what I'm talking about." Just a little FYI.

ALL you had to do was PM me and the problem would have been solved.(updated previous post) I really wanted these and I was planning on taking them off your hand today, but after waking up this morning reviewing your reply Scott I was highly disappointed. We all have heard this before the CUSTOMER is always RIGHT! Case Closed! BTW....tell the sales manager his price on the Tein CS's was too high..."I suggest the Tein Comfort Sport, this is some thing that I will have to drop ship from Tein to you, the price is $1298.00"...thats what he told me.
I wish you the best with your sale. No harm done, I can't say you feel the same.
