The 98-00 isnt chrome though
i searched 2003 and its 16.12
does anyone know if those ones are chome

2003 is chrome but i couldnt find them anywhere , i just got the black 1

Lexas parts offers the black version bezel individually for years 98-2000. The chome version can only be ordered w/the entire shifter/cupholder assembly for years 01-05. I think that's around $230. That's what I ended up doing.

So the one that is listed for an 01+ that is roughly twice as much as the 98-00 is not chrome?

It is chrome. And you used to be able to order just that part alone, as a lot of guys on here will tell you. It's just that Lexus never updated the skematic on their parts site. If you did try to order the bezel, it would eventually get kicked back. Believe me, I tried.
