Thumbs up FS: H&R "Stage 4" Coilovers for 98+ GS430/400/300

I have a set of used H&R "Stage 4" coilovers for sale. These are from my car and they have only like 5000-6000 miles on them. In excellent condition.

The front end can be dropped to the point where your wheels tuck and the rear can be adjusted down to a 0.75" to 1.0" gap (If you need it lower than this, H&R is soon going to release a new spring that will allow you to tuck the rear wheel also...it will be free of charge from H&R).

These ride suprisingly smooth...like their blurb says, doesn't have the harshness usually associated with coilovers. They don't have dampening adjustment and I would say that the dampening rate is at the softer end of the Tein HA's and the harder end of the Tein CS's. These are some of the best coilovers available...(would I put anything less on my car?)

Here's H&R's blurb off their website...

To work at its best, a suspension system has to have its dampers (the shock absorbers) precisely matched to its springs. And the dampers have to be the best available, custom-designed from the ground up and carefully tuned by race-proven experts. That's where H&R Coil-Overs come into the picture. These complete units use the latest in dynamic damper technology. They are hand-made in Germany to rigid ISO9001 quality specs, with fully-threaded shock bodies to let you fine-tune your ride height quickly, easily and precisely. These are perfect for Porsche Club racing or similar track events, or even your wild, all-out street machine. They are tuned for the uncompromised handling you demand, but without the harshness you'd expect from a less-advanced suspension system.
The ONLY and I mean ONLY reason why I'm getting rid of them is because I've worked out a new deal with another high-quality vendor for a set of their coilovers.

This setup retails for $2200...I'm sellin 'em for a NO HAGGLE price of $1100...PM me email me...

I would prefer to sell them locally (Los Angeles area) but I will ship. If I need to ship them, the buyer needs to pay shipping. I can take PayPal, MO, Check, etc. (all forms of payment must clear before I send the product).

Thanks for reading!

Manaray,

I read somewhere that the SC430's suspension is similar to the GS. If so, will this fit the SC430? Please advise.

I'm not sure about the SC430's suspension, but I too have heard that it's the same as the GS. You might to ask Lextacy44 about this because I believe he has installed H&R for a GS into a SC430...

OK Folkes, I have found out that these will absolute work on the new SC430's. I've got this information from both H&R's Tech guys and from a few shops that have actually done it...

So the title should read...

FS: H&R "Stage 4" Coilover for 98+ GS430/400/300 and 2002 SC430

Will this fit on '95 SC400? Also, have you sold it yet? If these fit on SC400, I could pick it up tomorrow since I also live in Los Angeles.

Thanks,

Have had quite a few emails but I had to turn down two serious buyers because they wanted it right now and I still haven't put on my new ones yet...(as you can see, I'm not in a hurry to sell.. )

But they do NOT fit on the SC400/300 from what I understand...sorry
