It is the same light 98 - 05. Its just the age that makes it so light.

I would prefer a later year set in order to match with a new set of tails! Mine are a 2000, so I would like atleast a 01-05 that's dark in color and in good shape!

I just ordered my LED inners and so mine off my 2002 will be available if you want them. Shoot me an IM if inerested.

What Im saying is, dont specify 01-05. You could get a 04 light that is lighter than a 98, if the 98 is barely driven and garage kept, and the 04 is parked outside daily. So it doesnt matter the year, it matters the wear. I would specify that the closer to 05 is what you want. blah blah blah I know. I just wanted to clearify. I have a right side inner light that is just lighter than new. I bought a new one and it was still lighter than the left and a shade darker than the one I took out.
