Default FS: TRD rear sway bar (up for sale again)

Well it's going up for sale again as I have changed my mind. Someone buy it before I change again.

I'm selling a used TRD rear sway bar because I want to use that money towards getting some OEM 17 chrome wheels instead. Ever since getting a drop, I must need rims to complete the set

The bar has about 500 miles on them, yes only 500. I bought it about 2 months ago and my car doesn't rack up miles that quickly. So essentially, it works like new. The bar comes with the bushings so you dont have to buy anything extra. I will include 2 packs of Daizen grease as it's more than enough to lube the TRD bushings.

If you have stock suspension, this bar alone will reduce body roll in turns. I had this with stock suspension and it made noticeably difference. Probably the best bang for the buck mod you can do, and probably one of the easiest also.

I reduced the price and now I'm selling it for $225+shipipng FIRM. Lowballers will be ignored.

email me or PM me vngo@socal.rr.com

I have pictures, but only if you're really interested because I had sent many people emails, and they never respond back.

advantage is that there is less body roll. You can probably feel the road a bit more in the rear and whenever you turn, the rear suspension will tighten up. Do you have stock suspension? If so, you'll definitely notice a difference. Get a front bar to complete the set and you'll have a lot less body roll through the corners than the stock suspension.

Though you'll want to get some springs or coilovers later on before driving too hard though because you dont want to put all that cornering load on just the sway bar. Or you can get a front one to reduce the load in the rear also

It was the first suspension mod to my car when it was stock. I had in my old car and I couldn't drive without having an updgrade sway bar, particularly the rear.

For safety's sake, I should warn you that fitting a rear sway bar alone is very dangerous as it will lead to excessive oversteer.

You should buy matching front and rear sway bar sets i.e either TRD front AND rear or Daizen front AND rear.

I agree. In very hard cornering, oversteer is more apparant but normal city driving, it'll be okay. But eventually, a front TRD bar would be needed to balance out the car. Our cars are tuned with a bit of understeer bias from the factory. Though I would rather prefer someone to buy this knowing they're going to upgrade the front bar also.

Question Rear TRD sway bar questions

So how come there is no front sway bar to go with this?
Did you just get the rear only somehow?

Is it possbile to just buy the front one from TRD or somewhere else so that one could have a complete set?

I've been thinking about changing from Daizen to TRD.
But having the rear as TRD and front as Daizen kind of concerns me.

I only had the rear because I was able to drive without upgrading the front. Like I said, during normal city driving, you wont be snapping into oversteer unless you really tried to.

Yes you can buy a bar from sewell lexus (lexus-parts.com) and use CL911M as a coupon code to get 10% off. In the end, the front bar works out to be around $330 shipped (as opposed to $340+shipping). The rear bar works out to be about $270. Basically my bar is new given the 500 mile condition, but you're getting it cheaper.

I know JeffTsai went from daizen to TRD and he loves it. To be honest, I like the TRD more than the daizen I have now, but I just can't fork over more money for the front, and plus, I'm a bit lazy to uninstall the bars

If you want less body roll, go with the TRD. Like someone said, going from Daizen to TRD is like going from stock to Daizen.

That's a bit too low. It'll be nearly $100 off the price of a new one. This bar is practically new and I barely used it
