I really don't know, I'm pretty sure it would. If you could find the time, you're welcome to come over and test fit it.

It prevents chassis flex during cornering. It might cause slight understeer up front, but its hardly noticeable.

will the strut tower bar fit 98gs400 with the cover and all? it looks like the wholes on one side have been notched out, is ther a reason for that? willit ecfect it in any wayy?

I'm not sure whether or not it'll fit a 1998 GS400 with the cover and all. It might or might not clear. This strut bar is OEM Toyota. They come stock on all JDM Aristos.

Are you sure your 2JZ clip is from 98 to 05?? That strut bar belongs to the first gen GS.
