the shop just got some boxes for another kit and i think i might be able to ship this thing via DHL or sumthin..i've never really shipped anything this large before...i wonder what this thing will actually cost in shipping?

their big boxes but won't weigh much so I'm guessing somewhere between $200-$300 Just a guess.

it wont be more than $200 to TX. I get kits shipped to my friend's shop from CA all the time. Let me know..

I went to UPS website and if the KIT weighs about 100 LBS (I'm guestimating here) shipped in 2 separate boxes...it will be between $100-150 to Texas.

It could be a little more or maybe a LOT more due to the size of the boxes, but thats what I got from www.ups.com using my zipcode 93003.

I deal with UPS on numerous occassions , you need to get the dimensions of the boxes HxLxD and include the weight and that's where you get your total. If the dimensions are more than 108 inches all together they will not take it because then you're talking about air freight. DHL do alot of these deliveries, and they're about the only ones that take bigger boxes at times so don't quote me on all of them. By the way your kit shouldn't weigh anymore than 30lbs together. Hope that helps.......just added that their is a company called (ServicebyAir) www.servicebyair.com give them a call, I don't know if you need to open an account or what but I had a kit delivered C.O.D., (3) oversized boxes for $419.00 to MD from Calif.

Thanks for the responses... I will first go to UPS today and see what exactly these things will cost to ship or if they will even take it.

As soon as I get the figures from the ACTUAL UPS / FEDEX place, I'll post the actual shipping price and we can all go from there.

I prefer PayPal as payment, BUT you will need to give me the extra charge they collect..I think it's 3%.

I'll update this thread when I get some info from the shipping company.
