HKS Hipermax for JZS147 (GS300)
I have a near new set of Hipermax LS coilovers, but as it turns out, they do not work on the JZA80 Supra we are building. Contacting HKS was helpful in noting that the spring setup on this set is 7 in front and 5 in the rear, which was the offered combination for the 91-96 JZS147 (or GS300) these are 392lb/in front and 280lb/in rear. Spring height is 250mm all round.
They are near new condition as the pictures show and I'm really disappointed that we can't use them since they weigh a fraction of what an equivalent Tien HA set weighs, which is a HUGE advantage in acheiving lower unsprung weights on the car.
FYI, Every pound of unsprung is equal to around 10 pounds of sprung weight, so getting it out of the road contact area is of prime concern when improving handling.
More about the coilovers:
Hipermax LS coilover kits are built from the same core components as the Hipermax Damper II coilovers but are tuned and valved for touring characterics for "Luxury-Sport Sedans", where improved handling characteristics are achieved while maintaining a desirable ride comfort. Hipermax LS coilover kits are threaded shock body units that utilize aluminum spring perchs for full ride height adjustability. Each kit also comes with upper pillowball mounts for improved steering response.
I'm going to let them go for $1250 - REDUCED TO $950

Price reduced to $1000
Please let me know if there is a discrepancy with these as far as application - this should fit the 1st Gen Gs300 (JZS147) thanks.

Can someone indicate exactly what years and models of Lexus these will fit? I have had many interested parties ask, and I've directed them here for an answer....
