I have a 98 GS and would like to trade my clear Fog lights for the yellow ones.

My Fogs are in Perfect working and physical condition.

Please let me know.

**Note: My Fogs came clear they were not broken to be made clear**

Why do some people have white and want yellow, and some have yellow and want white!? What difference does it make?

I know some people want that 'all white' light look, so I guess I (sorta) understand someone smashing the yellow reflectors out of the newer ones, but Joe why do you want yellow ones?

Yellow fogs look great with the HID headlights.

Personally, I'd prefer a blue-ish tint on the fogs, similar to the HID look. Maybe even more so blue.

I wanted the whole White look.
I have been through all the interations.
Factory yellow, super white, plasma blue (look blue-green), Purple (it turned out to be green on one side, maroon on the other. only one day), and now Plasma white...a hint of blue looks nice.
all except the originals were 80watt.

Now I am thinking about going back to Yellow...maybe super bright yellow ion...anyone know where I can get some in 80 watt 9006? thanks.

i also want the all white with a blue tint look, i love it, leaves a menacing presence (hehe thats from Initial D, i love thta line )

SuperJoe, why don't you get some yellow fog lamps? Preferably MAX GOLD yellow bulbs. ( I feel like I am the spokes person for MAX GOLD because I mentioned it on here like 1000 times ) They should pay me or something.

GS400TRD, I wouldn't recommend 80 watt bulb. I am using 55watt 12v bulbs and its bright as hell. The manual i believe said it is not wise to use a higher wattage than 55 watts.

i have purple headlights just like the bmw's hid... and i also want the bright yellow fogs.. let me know if some one wanna trade....are they just bulbs..
if there just bulbs.. ill juts buy bright new yellow bulbs.. what size bulb? is there more to it then bulbs? yellow refelctive coating on the inside of the foglamp??

I did and one of them burned out...I don't want the hassle of having to buy $30 bulbs and wait for shipping.

I'd rather go to just a store and buy $10 regular bulbs and replace them to get my yellows back.

hmm. I have had the 80 watt bulbs in the car for 2 years. None of the wiring seems to have melted. and with 80 watt bulbs, they are bright as hell+25 ! I think Brad (woody) also has them, and he has had them a lot longer than me.

as long as your lights arent pointing in the direction of the on coming driver (pointing up in face), I dont think it matters what the wattage is... I had 100watt heads on my other car and never had an issue.

Oh, that's good. I guess I will upgrade my fog kit from 35 to 55. seems our vendor doesn't have 55 watt ballast.
