I am selling a Radio/Cassette (Headunit) from 2001 GS300. The unit is in excellent condition and shows no wear. It was replaced with an aftermarket Nav. system.

It should fit other GS years and models.

My radio is 2001 and it is more expensive than 98-00 (because it has more features).

no it doesnt, i have the nak deck the 01's dont have any additional features from that year to my nak deck, at all, whatsoever.

I do not understand why you are trying to mess with my sale...

BTW - if I am not mistaken, the difference between the 98-00 and 01-04 units is that the later ones have a feature (I forgot the name of it) that allows you to see something like the name of the song that is playing. However, your car should be 01-04 to see it.

And please do not reply to my threads if you do not intend to buy ...

that is absolutely correct. the feature is called RDS. the 98-00 models can take advantage of this feature, but would need a modified wiring harness i believe. i remember Rockero did this a while back and it worked great for him.

Yeah, the RDS is an add on.. But also the TRAF feature which is some type of traffic info displayed when available, and the TYPE feature which allow you to seek specific genres(rock, r&b, jazz, etc). This is from the '01 I put into my '99 GS. I hope this helps..

Nobody wants a like new '01 head unit for $120? I know a lot of 2gen GS have messed up LCD and people are paying $150 just for the LCD itself. I am selling the whole unit for $120 and it takes only 10 mins to replace.
