I Need the rear bumper cover in black or unpainted. Estimates to fix the damage by mother-in-law are just barely over the deductible. Can this peice just be painted and installed? I really don't want paint around the rest of the car. Should I just pay the decutible and have Lexus do it?

Default Yes

Yes it is an easy install. But the best bet is to pay the deductible and have a pro do it. Painting is a an art and trying to match a panel like a bumper is difficult at best.

I wasn't going to paint it myself. I was just going to try to save some money and have just that part painted at a decent shop. Otherwise I can have Lexus do it all and pay the decuctible. The catch is that requires putting it on my insurance. If my motherinlaw claims it she will get dropped I am sure. This sucks. BTW I own my Lexus now it is no longer a company car.
