If I recall correctly, it does not. The test was done a couple of years ago so I can't remember the circumstances. You can get it to clear the engine with spacers but then I think you hit the hood.

I am not sure if it does or does not. I think Mr.Sypher at one time had a TOM STB on his GS300. If you are in New York and willing to make the drive down to Northern Jersey we can try and see if it fits or not.

Basically, for a GS300, you will need spacers. Apparently, it won't touch the hood but it won't clear the engine cover (if you have one and want to keep it). Also, with 3 spacers, there won't be a lot of thread left on the strut bolt.
