supra TT fronts with ls430 rears thinking of selling
#16
sorry chris
for the rears asking 850( remember mounting bracket is exclusive and runs approx 450)
the brembo rotors are approx 1 month old
the fronts will have fresh drivers side caliper with ebc green pads and new ebc red pads and brembo sport rotors and will include the goodrich 4 corner brake stainless steel lines asking 650

Interested in both....just a few questions:
on the LS 430 calipers:
Is there any special fitment rim wise?
Is the caliper clearance the same?
Also with the 13.1 rear rotor can you run a stock 17" GS wheel?
how old are the rotors front and rear?
PM'd you as well

the rear, depending on the bracket design, you might be able to fit it under stock wheels i believe. just a guess here though

rominl is right , if you are using 17in stockers you dont have a prayer to fit the supra fronts however the rears should fit for according to my measurements it did not take up more width just length.. the caliper is longer but not much wider hence double the pad area size
jeff , what did you mean by damm price to high or damm you missed it
if you guys think the price is high , consider the fact that you cannot mount these without the proper bracket , the bracket has to be machined just right for a mm in either direction can spell diaster it has to made out of the material stoptech and brembo's use for tensile strenght, the mounting holes just threaded deep enough or the caliper does not mount properly
netsportz in japan retails this kit at well over 1800 plus importing it here , trd japan is over 2k
but all in all i think the novelty might have worn off and i am ordering the ls430 fronts to go with my rears and that will accomplish my goals of alittle stronger front caliper being monoblock and only weighs in at 7.9 lbs and when i couple this with the new ceramic pads out from ebc and maybe spend the rest of pocket money sitting around for a new interior and new jdm hood
man who knows maybe i am just talking out loud

yeah henry , to mount the ls430 you need brackets , i am already talking with my contact in asia to finalize my order
since seeing the rotoras on blues car , i cant sleep , i want those but for mainly the wrong reasons, mainly for its a heart stopping jaw dropping sweet setup that just speaks no shouts of quality BUT i am having a very hard time justifying the extar coin out of my pocket esp since in the weight savings dept i can match the rotors and stop tech by upping to the ls430 front
my stopping power on this setup in truly amazing , stops from 100 to 0 feels like 45-10 it just grabs and stops .. i ordered a set of ceramic pads from ebc just today to try them out for better heat diss..

putting on ls430 front calipers but just with the stock 12.7 or 13" rotors that's not enough to give you the "wow" factor imho

Ed, I was saying damn about the price of the rears.
But I spoke without thinking first;
A) I shouldnt have said that on your FS thread, I apologize for that
B) your right, you gotta pay for rare items, I know that more than I car to admit
If you have something that works that good, I wouldnt change just for looks.
Good luck with it.
