hello all...i have a 2001 GS430 BLACK and it has the OEM spoiler with the brake light...i dont want the spoiler and am willing to swap trunk lids with another BLACK trunk lid...has never been in an accident and is in perfect shape. if anyone is interested in the trade let me know.

why even sell it to you? if you both can ship eachother your trunk lids...isnt that even better? you both have the same color and year (not that year matters) car....if shipping is minimal then thats a great catch

You dont want mine!!! It came with an aftermarket spoiler, therefore im trying to replace it with a OEM spoiler. Was wondering if you were willing to sell it

I DONT WANT A SPOILER...i want a black trunk lid - i dont care if it is a GS300 or a 430...mine is a 430 so u can have the emblems (i will be debadging anyways!) thanks!

I dont think your understanding. I HAVE AN AFTERMARKET spoiler on my trunk. Thats why u wouldnt want mine. If you are willing to sell the spoiler off your trunk, id be willing to buy it. Thats it, thats all i was trying to say

My assumption is that he doesn't want to just sell the spoiler, because he wants to avoid patching the holes and repainting the trunk lid.

He wants a trunk lid with no holes in it from a spoiler, OEM or aftermarket. He wants to trade with someone who had absolutely no spoiler who might want one. Your solution of buying his old one doesn't help him at all... leaves holes in his deck lid.

where in FL are u located, i have a family memeber who has a black 99 gs300 and is wanting to get a spoiler...if your not to far, i dont think he'll have a problem doing a swap with you...

good good even better, we're in fort lauderdale..so to take a drive isnt nothing....juss curious to find out some info, the gs300 i think came pre-wired rite??? and also the colors are the same, his is a 98 GS300, black --i dont know exact color code for the gs' models so it would help if i knew if it was the same of if there was a slite difference, and if both those first two questions are rite then the swap shouldn't be more than disconnecting the brakelight plug and unbolting the trunk lid

sounds right to me....can somebody give some insight on the color codes or problems swapping a 99 trunk lid with a 2001 trunk lid....thanks!

BTW i dont care about the 3rd brake light...the cops in my city dont care about little stuff like that and besides i have family all over the police department
