Default Modified and very well looked after Alpine Silver 99 GS400 For Sale

I am putting up my car for sale. Yes today is a sad day, and I would rather not go into the reasons why I have to sell my car. Suffice it to say that the reasons have nothing to do with the excellent condition of the car. The reasons are personal.

Anyway, as quite a few on here know me, my car is in impeccable condition and I had never planned to sell it. That's how good it is.

Alpine Silver 1999 GS400 with Black Leather interior. I am the second owner of the car and I have all the maintenance service records fully documented for anyone to see.
73K Kilometers or 45K miles

Full list of modifications:
Engine/Performance
1 - L-tuned Steering ECU
2 - L-tuned stainless steel mufflers
3 - Techkit Grounding kit
4 - Supra TT 3.76 gear Torsen type LSD - not yet installed - still sitting in my garage
5 - PI/TC - not yet installed (brand new)

Suspension/Handling
1 - Tein Flex coilover suspension with Eletronic Damping Force Controller (the EDFC is not yet installed) - I just installed the suspension at the beginning of April this year.
2 - TRD front LCB
3 - TRD blue race sway bars (100% more stiffer sway bars than the OEM sway bars)
4 - Toms rear LCB
5 - Cusco rear STB
6 - 18 inch HRE 447R. 8.5 inches wide front rims and 9.5 inches wide rear rims with 245/40ZR-18 front tires and 275/35ZR-18 rear tires on Bridgestone Pole Position S-03 Z-rated performance tires. Tires have about 80% tread left

Wheel specs:
- 447R
- F - 18x8.5 OS.31
- R - 18x9.5 OS.37
- Satin Silver Clear, Coated Centers
- Polished Lips
- Red, White & Blue Center Caps
- The lug nuts are 12x1.5mm – always hand torqued
- Weight: ~ 22 lbs. Ea
- “High Disk” // BIG BRAKE clearance

Brakes
1 - StopTech 14 inch (drilled rotors) big brake kit with 4-pot calipers painted black for the front
2 - StopTech 11 inch drilled rotors for the rear with stainless steel braided brake lines
I just upgraded the brakes about a month ago

Cosmetic/Exterior
1 - L-tuned side skirts
2 - L-tuned grille
3 - TTE Front lip spoiler
4 - 01 tail lights
5 - 3M protection film on all front lights
6 - 35% tint
7 - Full Zaino exterior treatment - currently 11 coats of Zaino are on the car.

Cosmetic/Interior
1 - Wood ashtray

Lighting
1 - Fogs upgraded to 6000K HID's
2 - OEM Auto leveling HID headlights upgraded from 4100K HIDs to 6000K HIDs

I.C.E.
1 - OEM upgraded Nakamichi stereo system - 280 watts, Pioneer 6-CD changer in glove box, 5 - channel amp in trunk for speakers and subwoofer

Lots of pictures here : http://www.sounddomain.com/id/silvergs as well as in my gallery on CL

NO I WILL NOT BE PARTING OUT THE CAR, so please don't send me any PM's about that.

Asking price: US$35K - yes this may be high, but if I don't get this price it won't be worthwhile to me to sell it. I will just have to keep it if I have to.

If you are local to me, you are welcome to go for a test drive.

Wow! No way man! This is a shocker!
I have been watching your car get nicer and nicer since I joined CL!
It has always been one of my favorites. Wish I had the money to pick this thing up.
Someone is going to be very lucky if they buy this fine example of Lexus engineering with all the work you have done to her.

Good luck!

Default Good luck, Hameed...

Sorry to hear you're selling your car, hope you find a good buyer that appreciates all you've done and how nice your car is!
Hope all is OK, but some things in life are more important than our cars (yes, even a Lexus GS!).
I'll show your post to couple of people at work just in case...

Yes some things in life are indeed more important than a GS. I never thought I would ever say that........

Here's the reason why I have to sell the car - it's a good reason

Just to clarify to those who have sent me PM's about the LSD and TC. Now that you know why I have to sell my car, it does not make sense to me to sell those separately as they will not make a dent in the debt I now have. Really what will make a difference is selling the car. Selling the car will defnitely make a difference to my high debt/service ratio.

I am not buying another car to replace my second wife (GS), but will just wait till sometime in the future when I can afford one again.

Default Nice!

Great pics and nice house too! We just moved into a brand new home last October-you'll love it! Then I decided I needed a GS400 go with it!
So you're saying you want the uninstalled parts (i.e. TC) to go with the car? If you change your mind, let me know! Thanks and best wishes on your new home!

Thanks!

The reason why I don't want to part out is simply because if I can't sell the car itself, then I will want to install the parts eventually. So yes if I sell the car, then the parts are included as stated in my original post.
