For Sale "like New" TRD Strut Tower Bar - $130 So. Cal Local pickup only. This is what I paid including shipping. I picked it up (without researching)& it does not fit a GS 300.

i have the TRD strut bar as well and when i went to put it on, it didnt fit for me either. so i was mad and upset... anyway, i decided to take the engine cover off and with a LITTLE work it went on... the problem was that the bottom of the strut bar was touching the top of the engine head and i was mad/upset again and didnt know what to do. so i asked a buddy of mine what to do and he said to put some spacers (washers) in between the strut bar and car and it will work. now i have been to busy/lazy to pick some up, but it DOES FIT!! hope that helps

EDIT: oh yea, i have a 2000 GS300

The TRD bar wasn't made for the 300, as per the infomation on the TRD application listing. It does not clear the top of the intake & you would have to lift it it about 1/2" to clear & then would probably make contact with the hood. The engine design in the 400 must have a lower profile.

From the information on the threads & site it will fit the 430 with the removal of the engine cover.
