Otherwise I'd say in looks it's a tie. In the real world driving I'd take the LS. For driving up to the country club the S wins as it gets more respect.

what are you talking about?! like enigma said, that's s550. the pics are from european sites i believe. it's s500 everywhere else, only s550 in the states coz' most people are too "into" the numbers

But either way it's a misnomer, since it's a 5.4L under the hood.
The Mercedes marketing guys must've been paid tons to "research" on which numbers "sound" or "resonate" the best.
