Best place for service? Southbay, preferably.
Well, I have an oil leak and need it repaired asap. Can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the South Bay that is good for repairs? I don't want to get ripped off, it is hard to find a fair mechanic.

I know everyone recommends Exact in Milpitas, but you can try Chet's Auto Care in Santa Clara (off of El Camino Real). He works on my GS430 and is pretty good w/ all makes and models. Really fair prices. He has some pretty good reviews on Yahoo Yellow Pages also.
yup, i have to say exact as well. i was just there last friday for service, john and sandy are soooo nice! their prices are very reasonable, and they are as sincere as you can ask for

Like the title says. I need my LTuned Shocks and tein s-tech springs installed. They are used so everything is intatc but needs to be put on.
Where is the best place WITH best price? Thanks folks.
I dont want to spend $400 on only install when the suspension itself only cost me $250. LOL. Let me know guys...... as i would like to get my car off 4x4 by the end of the week.

Does Exact have lowering springs in stock or do they order it for you? Should I buy the springs online(probably would be cheaper) or does Exact have a product/install type of deal. Trying to get some springs/install and allignment afterwords for no more than 500

Give them a call as they can get almost anything. Tires, rims, springs, Tein coilovers all Daizen products. Some in stock , some takes a few days to order.
Even if you find a better deal on parts, they are still happy to do the install for you.
One thing that all shops cannot do is if something goes wrong with a new part that you bought somewhere else, the shop will charge you labor to remove it and install the replacement.
If you buy the parts from them and have them install it and something goes wrong, they will not charge you for the labor to fix it.
This is a general rule that's true for most shops.
Keep this in mind as you may find it safer to buy the parts from Exact, then to risk a problem by trying to save a few bucks by buying on the internet.
