How's BP's 93 octane for IS350? Any one used it yet?
In today's world with fuel specs tighter than an ant's behind all fuels will meet spec, that's the law. Fuel is usually supplied from one or two refineries in an area, so if you live in, say, Southern California you may get fuel from the ExxonMobil refinery in Torrance whether you buy it from BP, Exxon, or the local Quickie Mart. If you would ever see the tanker trucks loading up at the fuel racks at a major refinery they will be from all the major brands, and independents. It's just a commodity, and a volume business. The difference is in the additive pack which is usually added when the tanker is offloaded. Each of the major brands has their own blend, but there is really very little difference between the brands. I've never, ever had any fuel issues or engine problems from any source I've bought from. Pick a source that is priced right and is convenient to your house or commute route. Whatever the advertisements would like to tell you THERE IS VERY LITTLE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BRANDS. It's a business based on volume.
