Hey jgscott-- thanks for the info and educated opinion. Experience is always the best teacher-- It seems like a good bit of research should be done before a dime is spent modding an engine at all..

I am interested in the gains your 97 SC400 saw with that combination of mods in your sig----- It's about the same list I would like to do minus the nitrous [for now] ....

So what sort of rwhp #'s did that setup make?? Also what baseline did your 97 make??
