One thing their supposably going to make a hybrid version, or it might be only a hybrid, got that from Leftlanenews.com, from what they say the 440hp can do 0 - 96 km/h in 4 seconds or under so, now to figure out the weight. In the end that would be still in the range of the new Nissan Skyline GTR / Porsche 997 Turbo.
We still have a while until the Tokyo Autoshow anyways, I can speculate all I want LMAO
So the car going to be like 3,500 pounds (1.75 short tons)
I just hope the front end looks good!!! Right now looks more like a Lambo than an L-Finessed Lexus front end, with those square headlights.
What are you talking about, from the looks of things...it's going to look like an IS/ES...
Whatever Toyota/Lexus decides to do with the production version, I'm sure it'll be fantastic...You guys need to stop saying "I hope this" & "I hope that" when is the last time Lexus let you down? Also, look at what happened with the last true sports car that they had...the Supra, I am by no means over-hyping the Supra but you do have to give credit where it is due.
I would just like to know price range, general release dates!

Well being built out of carbon fiber, I hope it will weigh less
Hmm, MR eh? There's a vent behind the door. Hmm, but then again, there are vents on the hood lol. N/m, the side vents are probably for aerodynamics. The headlight design looks weird though. Looks like a Le Mans car.

recent BestCar and Holiday Auto magazines are reporting that Toyota is working on a Hybrid "Sports Car". I think this will be the sport version of the the Supra successor. So a mainstream 3.5L V6 with 350HP and a Hybrid V6 with 400+ HP.
I think this makes sense if the LF-A is a V8. Earlier reports from Japanese publications were that the Supra successor was going to have a V6 and a V8. However if the LF-A is going to have a V8, Lexus will have a hard time justifying the price(est. 100K) if the V8 Supra successor roughly 45K has basically the same HP output (450-500).
