hi all, got mine july 31, flint mica,(lots of compliments), tinted glass (35% I think) chrome 17's, everything except nav at tustin lexus, paid 43k even. (lots of grinding!) Seems I should have waited a few weeks, but overall I"m satisfied, love the car,164 miles. I'm seeking advise on two points, the first, does anyone know the part # and location to get the the bulb to replace the yellowish running/high beam bulb? The second, I want to upgrade to 18" chrome wheels w/245/50-18. Is this a good size to fill out the wheel well and look sweet without compromising the smooth ride? Or should it be 245/40, I like the built in lip on the dunlop sp sport 2050's as it makes it easy to apply tire dressing without getting it on the rims, any help or tips would be appreciated. Also how do I post a sig pic, thanks again, hoping to hang out here alot! Greg in Irvine , so cal area.
Congrats. The high beam/DRL bulbs are 9005... but even if you replace them the DRL's will still look yellowish as it runs on half wattage or something like that. You can get 9005 bulbs pretty much anywhere.
Sorry, from what I understand, the daytime lights will always be that yellowish color regardless of what you put in there. Do note that when your HID low beams are on, the daytime lights go off, and a little 194 bulb... i guess accent light... err.. parking light turns on.
Yes, the high beam/daytime lights are 9005. You can get bluish 9005 bulbs to put in there, then your HIGH BEAMS would be whiter, but it probably won't affect the daytime lights.
Yo G...On the 18's and 50 series rubber. I would go 19inch and 235 or 245 by 40. You will still get the Lexus Glide and fill up a lot of that gap in the wheel well. Falken tires have the lip protectors also F452 is the tire series number. And I know what you mean on dressing the tires with the lip protector - easy on.
Thanks kissbang for the info, I guess changing the 194's w/ a blue led bulb will give the result I'm looking for, and thanks for the link, you guys are great! yo g

Thanks for the reply Blaq ice , I would defintelly prefer 19's as long as I still had "the glide" you accurtelly described! Would that give me about 2" of rubber to ride on and are the falkens pretty quiet? Great info, bigger is better! YO G
