BTW, the 60-1 peaks at apx 650hp but is more appropriate in the 500hp range. Max at 15psi and 65% efficiency would be apx 550hp. Remember these are flywheel numbers and you would need to subtract about 50hp for manual car and about 70hp for automatics for the rwhp number.

We are hoping my car will do 650 RWHP on just the turbo, and I also have that 120 shot on the car, but we may jet it up to a 200 shot before the end of this season.
Honestly guys, I am dumping a lot of money into my car, and I will be lucky to get like 100 more RWHP than what I had before.... I mean, if I would have put the larger exhaust housing on the 60-1 and sprayed the 120 shot I could have been close to if not slightly over 650 RWHP, and now I am hoping to hit 750+ RWHP (although, that is not what I am expecting, that is what I am hoping for). Is it worth the extra $20kish I am dumping right now? To me it is...
I wanted a stainless header for one thing, and I am having to put a lot more money into a beefier tranny and engine management, but whether it is worth the cost is always up the individual. I like custom stuff, because I like being different

You'll need the Supra TT inline fuel pump. Unfortunately, you'll need a custom or TT? (don't know if the TT intake works on the NA head) intake system as well because the header puts the turbo high up in the way of the stock intake.
Actually the stock intake will work fine, the turbo is not in the way......... close, but it clears.

Are your engines VVT-i or non VVT-i? Does Toyomoto or SP have a Turbo setup that works with the VVT-i based 2JZ-GEs? Hows your experiences with them? SC300T mentioned that going past 9psi would require sometype of Air-Fuel Regulator such as the A'Pexi S-AFC or HKS S-AFC. Is that enough for pushing say 1.4 bar (20psi) without a VPC? I was told that the VPC will not work on the VVT-i engines with the electronically controlled throttle and that I would have to wait for HKS new stand alone computer.
Now here's my dilemna: I converted my car into a Aristo V300 (stage one). Now I want to take another step by upgrading to a single turbo setup. I have a '00 2JZ-GTE w/ VVT-i and the V300's ECU, wiring harness, four speed tranny, Supra/Aristo Fuel Pump, Supra 550CC injectors, fuel return line, and upgraded to a single turbo utilizing a combination of Sard's stainless steel manifold, XS-Engineering's Garrett-based T04X (w/.70 A/R), HKS 50mm racegate with gate set at .6-1.0 bar, and a pretty buff GReddy FMIC. Problem is that I cannot get my hands on an upgraded ECU/program. I am waiting in line for a HKS F-Con Pro V stand-alone computer (however the damn thing has been recalled for the third time).
Along with a good boost controller (HKS EVC Pro) can I boost 1.4 bar safely without a program? The best thing (caveman) I can do is to obtain some type of air-fuel regulator such as the APex'i or HKS S-AFR.
What do you guys suggest? My goal is to put out 500 at the crank with room to upgrade in the future. My car ran fine as a left-hand drive V300 but I want more kick. Based on the similar Supra TT's stock fuel system (550cc injectors) and auto tranny what is a reliable hp output I might be able to utilize "reliably." I really appreciate the help.

I had heard the same thing about the Haltech.... I was told that for a daily driver it was definately not the management to go with, and that it was very difficult to get it running right.
I had heard things about cold startups not being all the smooth with the Haltech also....
Also, does the Haltech correct for altitude, temperature, etc.?

I just spoke to Phil at Toyomoto. They have never had the oppurtunity to work on that engine according to Phil. He also said that they have not been able to put a VPC on obd-II engines.
Any ideas how much SP would charge for just the HKS VPC GCC + installation?
I'm really considering this route as a first step at controlling fuel, but want to go with a shop that has done it before.
How have your experiences been with SP?

Just passed 4k miles since the N/A to T60-1 conversion and all is bliss... Have driven in virtually every condition imaginable. Definitely a steetable setup and great as an every day driver.
Im not sure how much Larry would charge honestly... The reason we didn't go with the VPC/GCC combo on my car is because you can't go larger than a 550cc injector that way, and that was not big enough for my needs.
2 or 3 weeks ago Larry told me that he had like 6 VPCs in stock, so you may want to drop him an e-mail and ask what kind of price it would be... His email is:

BTW, you can go a LONG ways with the VPC/GCC setup... Larrys car is running that and look at his 1/4 mile time... On rough tuning!
