I have an 06 GS300 that slightly sways when driving on concrete highways that have been grooved. Any suggestions on what causes this or how to correct?

i wonder if it's tires tracking the grooves on the freeway. happened to my car with the old tires. after changing tired, nothing anymore

i believe that was yoko avs sport. all tires i had after that (so3, perelli pzero nero, michelin pilot sport a/s, dunlop leman 702) they are all good

keep in mind this is on my 98 gs400 with 19" or 20" wheels.

I have Michelin Pilots have tried to adjust PSI, had alignment. Still get fishtail like shimmy on grooved freeways. Any other thoughts?

which michelin pilots though, they have a lot of different models. not sure about others, since i have only owned the a/s myself

When I was running the S03's on stock wheels, I noticed the same thing. Maybe because they were a really square tire? But after I got the 19s with Toyo T1R have not noticed it since, although I have new suspension also.

pilot sport still has more variance. like i said i have the a/s and i am fine, can't really comment on the rest though

They are PS2. I'm talked with the tire shop and they're going to trade for the A/S. Can't be worse, this car is moving side to side like a pin ball machine.

ah interesting. which part of cali are you in, i wonder if i can try out those roads some time as well. hopefully the a/s will fix your problem!

America's Tires installed the Michellin Sport A/S today and they are awesome! Thanks for the suggestion. The Southern California freeways that caused the swerving are the I-10 between the I-15 and 605 also the 210 Freeway from Rancho Cucumonga to Arcadia both directions. But the A/S tires stopped the swerving.
