The Lexus IS300 kit is composed of an 8-wire setup that grounds 8 points in the engine bay. Included with the kit are instructions, 4 small extended bolts (3 used and one extra in case you drop it into the engine bay while installing), 1 large bolt, necessary washers / lock washers, and 5 tie wraps. Kit comes complete with all necessary hardware and accessories to install. The only tool needed is a socket wrench set with 10mm, 12mm and 13mm sockets. Typical installation time is 30-60 minutes.

Improvements are seen in both Manual and E-Shift models. The kit noticeably increases engine startup, efficiency, smoothness at idle and throughout the powerband, throttle response, shifting, and overall drivability. The most drastic change being shifting and throttle response. E-shift owners agree that the grounding kit dramatically reduces shift lag that is a common trait in those models.
