OK I guess it's my turn, odo JUST turned 1000 miles....
Check engine and VSC lights came on today. The car stalled out AT LEAST 10 times!! Thank god I was in my driveway. It would start and idle for a second or 2 then die. It did this like 10 times then finally stayed running. Anyway the lights are still on. If I have time I'll bring it by the dealer tomorrow.
Wow 10 times??
Lexus needs to seriously get a fix for this. That is dangerous and someone can get killed if a car stalls at the wrong time!

Damn this seemed more like a 250 problem, please let us know what the dealer has to say.
The car started right up this morning, the check engine light and VSC lights are now off. The dealer didn't have any appointments available today but I made one for tomorrow. I"ll post what they find but have this weird feeling that they won't find anything since all the lights are off.

Geesh, sorry to hear this... good luck and keep us posted!
I have a IS350 with 1,550 miles.Three warning lights came on this week.
1.Engine check light.
2.VSC-on display screen between the speedo & tach.
3.Traction control light.
The tech said it was a cracked oxygen sensor # 89467-30010 and Its starting to look more like a common problem with the IS350.
Here is the message on my invoice. Concern check light is on. (SOP Sensor ) Mil on.
DTC P0158 B2 S2 02 Sensor rich. Found B2 S1 02 Sensor biased lean causing DTC to set . Replaced Sensor, cleared DTC and road tested. They replaced it today every thing is ok
The service dept asked me if it was running rough and it wasn't so i drove it to the dealer. The car never died or ran rough but if it did I would use my Lexus road side assistance to have it towed at no cost. I checked my oil seem to be ok but I will change it just to be safe.

How long did this take? They're not going to have a loaner car available for me, but tomorrow is my day off so I told them I'd wait, but obviously don't wanna spend my whole day there.
Just back from the dealer. Service guy said it was a "faulty injector." He said they had to order the part, but I'm OK to drive it for now. I have an appointment to bring it in next Wednesday to have it replaced.
Hmm, are you sure you guys didn't buy German? I have to giggle just a little given the fact the "reliability" thing is thrown out every time there is a discussion of the German competition.
At least it sounds like a consistent problem which means there is likely a fix. The issue with lots of newer cars is getting the corrected part made and shipped in time. What is not good is that there a significant effect on the air/fuel mixture which can, in some circumstances, cause engine damage (detonation, etc.).

Geesh, this stinks, so does this mean we'll CONSTANTLY have to go back for new oxygen sensors? Or is the original factory sensor the only bad one and replacements are supposed to be improved? Wonder how much this would run, outside of warranty?
Well, my check engine, and check VSC light came on again...gotta bring it to the dealership on Monday...... If I have raw fuel in my oil again, wouldn't it be bad to be driving around for days like that ?????
Found this posted on my.is. Don't flame me if this is against the rules or something. Just trying to help you guys out. I believe this has to do with the fuel in the oil issue....
