Clear bra installed by Premier!
These guys came totally prepared with all kinds of tools, rolls of protective film, and probably a dozen spray bottles. It took them about two and half hours to complete the install, and I got to watch them work their magic. They take flat pieces of film, and with lots of finesse and technique they massage them onto all the curved pieces of the car with nary a wrinkle or crease. It takes a lot of patience, and an attentive eye for detail. I am a bit of a perfectionist myself but obviously don't have the skills that these guys have... that's why I am glad they did the install!
From more than a few feet away you can't even see the edge of the film across the hood. I tried to take a few pictures of it but you can only see the line on a few of them. On the front bumper and the lights, they did a very clean, seamless job. Most people probably won't even notice it unless you are looking closely at the front of the car.
here is a link to my photo album where you can only see a faint line across the fender and hood if you look carefully (go to photo #40):

A big thank you to Sam and the guys from Premier -- now I can take the car out on the highways, without having to worry about rock chips or bug splats ruining my day. Now to get through the last few hundred miles of the break-in period...
Premier does installs all over the SF Bay Area and even travels to SoCal from time to time. You can contact Sam at sam@premiermobilegroup.com for more info.

Great to hear that Sam continues to do a great job on custom clear bra installs.
Over the past 2 years, Sam has done a lot of NorCal members cars. Never heard of any complaints, but plenty of compliments.

E-mail Sam or go to his website to see a gallery of fine cars that he's done and you'll see why you'll get it down the road as well. Its a pain to drop your car off every so often to get the front end repainted. This way, you'll just wipe off the dust and have a brand new front end every time...

Premier does pre-cut film too for less money, but you will need a custom cut because of your non-factory body parts.
Check out INDGOGRL, redgs4, b_chau cars coming to the dyno meet. They all had work done by Premier.

it's really not that noticeable. You have to walk up to the car and look at it closely to notice the edges of the film where they show. Sure sometimes the edge will catch the light and look really visible but it's no big deal. Small price to pay for keeping the front end clean looking for years! In a few years people will be looking at your car and not notice the bra, they will notice how nice the front end still looks after so many miles.
the newer stuff isn't supposed to discolor as long as you take care of it, i.e. wax it just like you would the paint. and even worse case scenario, it turns yellowish after a few years, you take it off, and what do you have underneath? A perfectly clean paint job because the film did its job of protecting the finish.
though if you just got a repaint, you might want to wait like 30 days for the paint to cure completely before putting on a film. it's safe to put on new cars because by the time the car travels from factory to ship to port to dealer, it's probably been 30 days since it got painted, and they cure the paint under higher heat from the factory.
On a side note, Sam mentioned that they were going to have a meet for the grand opening on their shop on April 29th. He said the would be food and exotics there

The 3M film is inferior to the Venture. You can really tell the difference.
