Just went to dealership and the parts guy said there is a Lexus key fob pouch, but they're trying to locate the part number. Anyone have more info about this?
The leather keyfob pouch is being given out with the new 06 IS purchases. I didnt even care to ask them for one today when I went to pick up my car. They had my GS for 3 weeks when I was originally given a 5 day turn around expectation.
Anyway next time I'm at the service center I'll ask them to hook me up with one. They owe me. lol. Someone on the IS forums posted a pic of it. It looks great..
I was given a 2 leather key pouches by my Lexus dealer, each was made by Braun Buffel and had a metalic Lexus emblem on it.
Welcome aboard! Dont be shy...post some pics of the new car and the keyfob case.
On the same subject, I had to stop by my service center today and so I inquired about the IS keyfob holder. No one there knew anything of it but I am sure in another month or two they should have them in stock and available for sale.
Braun Buffel leather goods do not come cheap so expect to pay 30 to 50 bucks I would guess.

The pouch is finally a solution to those valet parking attendants. Since i dont give people who valet my car the key (i keep glove box and trunk locked), they dont have a good way to handle the key fob since it doesnt have a hook on it.
With this, the problem is solved.

That was the exact comment my wife had when we picked up our GS430 and the saleperson was showing us the key. "there's no way for the valet to hang up the key".
