Seriously though, rolling stock is more important that looks. If you must, consider a set of Supra TT rims. Your parents are willing to pay for new tires, that's a pretty darn generious of them -- mine don't even pay for my food!

Take them up on it. Suffer the looks for a little bit, and then go w/ a set of coilovers and be done with it.

I'm very fortunate. They've offered to pay for the necessary things like tires, oil, etc... They pay for gas until I get my license. Anything I want though, that's more than they wanna pay, I pay the difference for.

I'm thinking about sucking it up and living wih monstrous wheel gap over 18's for a while. I'd love to just save up for a nice set of adjustable Teins or JICs.

I wish I had old car suspension sag. I still have plenty of wheel gap on the car- it's pretty much new. 40,000 miles and this car is just starting to age.

I'll show this thread to my parents to let them see what people who really know these cars think about the situation.
