Default LS460/ LS460h Spy shots

I ran a search and didnt see any of these photos, especially the one of the new body style. I did see the photoshop, but this doesnt look like a PS. If it is, its a damn good one!

I'm liking the new design if that is indeed what they go with!

Oh, WOW....

This to me seems really plausible as an L-finessed future LS. And I CAN see it stretched for the LS 460L version...

Although for some reason it has less of a 'commanding presence' as previous LS's.

I still think it's a great, great photoshop with elements of the new GS and IS put together very nicely, but it lacks the multi-bar grille which has distinguished the LS as a flagship.

Agreed...the C-pillar is taken off the IS, the front bumper is a stretched GS bumper, and the front lights and side mirrors are IS. The New LS needs to have a more formidable nose, less sleek and demure.

Yes, the front is nowhere near as majestic...? as the LS should be. It needs to be more broad-faced and open if that makes sense. It is a good L-Finesse concept however.

Yeah has PS written all over but still a very nice one at that. Could use some slightly larger headlights however.

You know, the scale doesn't look right. Kind of like it was one of the handfull of GS design photos/mules that were floating around before the new GS came out. It just doesn't look like it has enough size to be an LS. Photos can be deceiving so I will wait for a few other guys to post.

I am not sure I would mind the new LS looking this way but I would need to know that the interior room remained, or grew, and it didn't have the almost useless GS trunk/trunk opening.

The 7 still doesn't do it for me, even redone. A8 and new S might be possible. The S might step up to the top if they aren't plagued with problems and it is as good in the flesh as the writers indicate. But we all the new S is going to have impressive numbers, on the window sticker I mean. Lexus was really built on the LS and the expectations are going to be high for the next gen, especially considering the current model is pretty good. Maybe this is it, maybe it is not. Seems like a long time to wait for the nextgen though.

I guess I agree, I figure it will look a lot different from this photo when it arrives.

Lexus is supposedly interested in a 'unifying' look to their models, but I don't think it will be THIS unifying. I'm hoping the vehicles will be at least as different from one another as the New IS is to the New GS....that said, I hope the 'plush' vehicles (LS, ES) are more different as well---already rumors are that the New ES will retain similar headlights, so that's at least one difference.

If Lexus truly wants to replicate '1989 all over again' they need to go for a stunning yet broadly appealing silhouette that is distinctive...not predicted largely by the GS and IS.

The new LS probably won't look anything like this. It's to small and the headlights and grill are to small and sporty. Expect to see something between the current LS's shape and this photoshop. It is also expected that the new LS will come in two lengths so it will be significantly larger than this pic.

Agreed. Too sporty and not enough luxury. Hopefully this doesn't become the LS. Not a bad design but not good enough for the LS nameplate.

Even though it is a photoshop and wont probably be the next LS, I want to see what the artist would conceptualize the back of the vehicle...
