Fuel Tank Door and Fuse Locations in ES330
guys,
i couldn't open my fuel tank door and trunk on ES330 (2003 model). is this related to blown fuse? if so, where can I find the fuse at? if not related, how can I fix it?

a 2003 ES330?? ......no such animal in the US.
the 2003 should be an ES300 not 330. In that case, the fuses are the same as my 2002.
For the trunk, check the power shut off switch in the glove compartment. Make sure it is in the operative position (pushed in). Unfortunately, my manual doesn't list which fuse is for the trunk. I would assume it is one that is releated to the security system and power locks.
The fuel door opener is fuse #58, 5 amp. If it is a 2004 ES330, the fuses should be very similar....don't know why they would change.
#58 is located in the fuse panel behind the coin tray (little swing down door) to the left of the steering column. Bottom row of the rectangular fuses, 2nd in from the left.
When you push the button, do you hear a click sound. If not, then it may be your fuse.
If you hear it trying to open, then the door may be stuck or the opening spring may be broken.
To the door open with a blown fuse, there is a manual release in the trunk just behind the trunk liner right where the gas fill is.
If both of these don't work and it is the door that is physically stuck, I found that the best way is to use a three Q-tips bunched together. They will slide in between the door and body (won't scratch the paint) and when you pull back on them, the cotton tips bind up and push the door open. Of course someone else has to push the release button or use the manual opener in the trunk while you pull on the Q-tips.
good luck.

PS. Trunk release button, fuse locations and manual fuel door release in the trunk are in your owner's manual.

hello..
sorry, it's actually 04 model ES330.
thanks a lot for your detailed help. i did try to look at fuse #58 as you described and it seems fine. i couldn't hear any click when i pushed the fuel door opener. I also checked the trunk button in the glove box (it's in the correct position however I couldn't open it).
thus, since i couldn't open the trunk, i couldn't get to the manual fuel door release.
i did try the q tips suggestions and still didn't work...
thanks..
