Yay or Nay on Wrapping an RX F Sport's Chrome Parts

You certainly have to hand it to Club Lexus member behnammavi for thinking outside the box. Although I’m still not sure if I share his vision for wrapping the chrome bits on his 4th-Gen RX F Sport.

Usually I’d say it doesn’t matter whether or not I share someone’s opinion about their own car, but in a recent thread, behnammavi posted these photoshopped visions of his RX, and then asked for the community’s thoughts about which look to go for. He’s specifically wondering if he should wrap “all chrome trims in body color” or “make some trim piece(s) in red.”

While a bold vision like this could easily have been a “careful what you ask for” kind of request, some of you fine folks were really quite helpful, including a few of you who wondered what a black wrap on the chrome bits might look like.

Before any photo shopping could be done, member DenverRX offered up a dynamite drop-in with a couple of photos of his RX with the chrome parts already wrapped in black.

Now that I definitely like! But what do you think? Red? Black? Some chrome wrapped? No chrome wrapped? Help behnammavi out!
