Topless LFA Gorgeous Beyond Belief, Go For 2014

In “Girl,” the Beatles sang about a girl you want so much it makes you sorry. And that’s exactly how I feel about the LFA. I got up close and personal with one at SEMA a couple years back, and even though that example was rattle-can flat black, I was floored.

Of course, barring some life-changing stroke of luck, I’ll never be able to afford so much as a lug nut from Lexus’ halo car, but who cares? Earlier this month, Lexus announced that a Roadster version is a go for 2014, so it gave me another excuse to spend some time drooling over the concept photos. While I’m not a fan of red cars–unless they sport a Prancing Horse, whatever, kill me–the lack of a roof will allow more of the sonic majesty from the V10 to wash over the passengers, and that’s a great thing.
