The Outright Joy in Uncovering Your Hidden Lexus Features
One of the great things about picking up a new Lexus is that by the time it gets old, you still haven’t found all the cool features hidden inside your magical ride.
Club Lexus forum member jmoney6 just found that out the fun way, when upon driving his 2015 GS 350 F, he recently made the following find:
Last night I had my phone on my lap and it slid to the right; I thought it was lost forever but someone was thinking and added an extra piece of material closing the gap in between the seat and center console.
jmoney6 was so inspired by the attention to detail that he decided to post a thread entitled, “What’s your favorite discovered feature?”
Not surprisingly, jmoney6 is far from the only Club Lexus member to have had such an “Aha!” moment. And the cool thing about this forum is that many of your discoveries have inspired other members to experience that same elation.
Here’s some of the biggest discoveries:
“Rear Cross Traffic Alert…scared the **** out of me until i realized what had just happened. Awesome feature,” wrote Dukeaudio.
“Driving down the street when all of a sudden got this big splash of water on my windshield, (sprinkler I think) before I could even blink the automatic windshield wipers came on and in one fell swoosh eliminated said threat right from my vision…F yea,” said MEAHT.
“My favorite discovered feature on my 2014 GS 350 is the full throttle mode. People who have driven this vehicle and complains that it is slow or lagging during wide open throttle because they did not access the full throttle mode,” said AL13NV8D3R.
“The Fuel Guide is great, listing out nearby gas stations and current prices, and you can click to navigate to your favorite brand (or cheapest price if so inclined),” mentioned Atomic350F.
“The small hidden compartment in the left trunk floor….where I found the owners manual after buying the car used and making the dealer buy me another one. Anyone need an owners manual? Hahaha,” joked 2014GS350F.
While the thread is chock-full of helpful little tips, perhaps the best discovery comes from member FishBike, who notes in his profile that he drives a 2013 350 GS: “When I am on the road next to a noisy car, there is a pedal on the floor I can press and it makes the other car quieter. And also smaller. It’s pretty neat.”
Has everyone here found that feature yet? Cause it’s amazing, right?
